OUR ROOM TYPES

The rooms at Hotel Tylösand are characterized by a natural and harmonious interior decoration style, where the contrasts between subdued colours and light creates a stylish, warm and homey environment.

Our look is created by Åsa Gessle, who’s been inspired by decades of hotel experiences in the world’s metropoles since Roxette’s international break in 1989.

Together with architect Kay Linghoff, Åsa has chosen an austere, simplistic and very Scandinavian design to give a timeless feeling that’s still unquestionably now.

Classic Design is our double rooms in the main building. Modern and elegant style with carpentry in subdued tones, contrasting with clinkers and wall-to-wall carpet in light colours. Design by Åsa Gessle.

Superior is our new double rooms in The Front House. They are 30 sqm. The rooms are designed by Åsa Gessle and furnished in warm, smooth colours, inspired by Tylösand’s beach, sand and dunes.

DELUXE

In our 34 sqm Deluxe rooms facing the sea, you can immerse yourself in the magic view thanks to the generous glass spaces in windows and terrace doors. The colour scheme and interior decoration is inspired by the outside scenery with the ocean waves, the sand dunes, the pines and so on. Stylish and sparse in an updated Swedish design tradition by architect Kay Linghoff and Åsa Gessle.

GRAND DELUXE SUITE

The upper floor of The Beach house (Strandhuset) is reserved for our Deluxe suites, all with magnificent roof terraces. As part owner of the hotel, Per Gessle has let some of his awesome musical past shape the look and feel of the main suites The Look, The Joyride, The Big L and The Perfect Day.
