RESTAURANT & BAR

At Hotel Tylösand we offer everything from fun dining to tapas, sushi, After Beach and a pulsating night club life. During the summer season of 2024, we’ll open up our four innovative top-class restaurants: from traditional Swedish cuisine to grill, pizza, tapas, sushi and seafood. We’ve got After Beach, nightclubsm, concerts and events.

BARTENDER

Are you also longing for to work in a nightclub again? Then you’re probably the bartender we’re looking for – especially if you can work fast, and deliver delicious cocktails and drinks in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for bartenders with their minds set on service, drinks, and cocktails. You’ve preferably got two years of experience as a bartender in a cocktail bar or nightclub, and has a relevant bartender education. You’ve got a positive, efficient mindset, and loves to work in a great team. You will be working in one of Hotel Tylösand’s bars, doing everything from classic cocktails to working the nightclub or After Beach.

You’re at least 20 years old and can start working during spring. The job positions are seasonal and the working hours can vary – but will be during days, evenings and weekends, with possible extension. Interviews will be done on an ongoing basis.

WAITING STAFF

We’re an amazing team that needs some reinforcements. You love service, food and drink, wants to give our guests the best you can, and wants to progress in your career – which you will do here. We’ve got four restaurants with different concepts: from sushi to tapas, pizza and à la carte.

Thanks to our unique way of working, we can offer job positions both if you have at least two years of experience, or are new to the business but is eager to learn. We’ll let you know when you’ve applied.

Here you’ll do sometimes fast paced work in a great team and a wonderful environment with the magnificent view over the 15 km Tylösand beach. Top-class artists and DJ’s help to keep the buzz going all summer.

RUNNER

As a Runner, you’re driven by providing great service and always eager to learn more. After all, yours are the helping hands – and feet – that keeps the restaurants, bars, nightclub and After Beach up and running.

You love to give service, waiting and busing tables, stock bars, and working in a great environment in fast pace. Feel free to apply even if you don’t have much experience – we’ll fill you in and help you to develop your skills. We’ve got many exciting job positions to offer, thanks to our four restaurants, bars, nightclub, After Beach, and the live shows by Swedish and International top artists. HEAD WAITER

Do you have the ability to juggle many tasks at once? If you have leadership qualities and some experience from the restaurant business, this might be the perfect job for you.

You need to be solution-driven, able to handle stressful situations, as well as master both Swedish and English. You will be responsible for coordinating, leading and distribute the daily restaurant work from lunch to After Beach and evenings. These are divided on different job positions, and we’ll let you know more if you make it to an interview.

KITCHEN

At Hotel Tylösand you never have to choose between fun or fine dining. During the summer season we open up our four innovative top-class restaurants, offering everything from a magnificent symphony to smoking hot rock’n’roll. Everything carefully prepared with a focus on local produce, taste, expertise and first-class ingredients.

Here’s our four restaurants:

Restaurant Tylöhus – Classic Swedish à la carte menu with influences from the French cuisine, the Tylösand way.

Bettans Bar - Sushi, seafood and Asian fusion, where we create new exciting taste sensations with the Asian cuisine and seafood as the guiding light.

Leif’s Bar & Grill – high-class grilled dishes with Mediterranean influences, as well as stone oven baked pizzas in a rustic and relaxed environment.

Titus Tapas – our version of the greatest smaller hits from the Spanish cuisine, with inspiration and tastes from all over the world.

Do you want to a part of this exciting and creative team?

We’re looking for chefs and dishwashers with the relevant experience: sous chefs, grill chefs, sushi chefs, station chefs, breakfast chefs, pizza chefs and dishwashers.

You have a documented experience, are quality conscious, and can deliver top-class work in all situations. That means an ability to handle stressful situations apart from having a genuine interest in cooking. You are careful, ambitious, have a positive mindset and a team player. Experience from multi-cultural cooking, preferably in an international environment, is meriting.

HOTEL

RECEPTIONIST

If you love service work, likes to be a part of a great team and meet new people, then the job as a receptionist can be yours this summer.

As the Hotel Tylösand receptionist, you’ll be offering our guests top-class service.

Regular tasks are checking in and out, tending in the lobby bar, bookings, and various administration work. There are clear daily routines, but your work tasks can vary depending on the day. That means you need to be responsive, committed, and flexible. You also have experience from the service business. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English, is a team-player and can handle stressful situations.

It’s meriting if you’re familiar with PMS Opera, Trivec and WaiterAid and know your way around Hotel Tylösand and its surroundings.

ENTRANCE HOST

As our Entrance Host, you’ll be the first to greet many happy and expectant guests when they arrive to the hotel. Your job is to make our guests feel welcome, comfortable and important. You’re making sure that every guest gets top-class service, giving them a great first impression of Hotel Tylösand. Working hours will be mostly during evenings and nights, but there can also be daytime work. To apply you need to be service-minded, social, careful, and know your way around people.

It's meriting if you know your way around Hotel Tylösand with its entertainment offerings and fabulous surroundings. It’s also a plus if you have a license to work as a guard. Ass Hotel Tylösand’s Entrance Host, we can offer you a fun and memorable summer where you’ll meet many new people, and develop your already great service capabilities.

The position is from 50% and you need to be over 20 years old to apply for the position.

NIGHT PORTER

As a night porter at Hotel Tylösand, you are available for the hotel’s guests and have a passion for offering world-class service. Commonly occurring tasks are check-in and check-out, lobby bar service, taking bookings and a lot of other administrative tasks. The work takes place at night but daytime work may also be required if needed.

We would like you to have previous experience of night work. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently. We are looking for you who are committed, careful and service-oriented where satisfied guests are in focus. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the programs PMS Opera, Trivec and WaiterAid from before.

TUFFERS CLUB/CHILDREN’S CLUB HOST

Tuffers Club is Hotel Tylösand’s children’s club. During the summer season the Tuffers Club offers many fun activities for our youngest hotel guests. You have experience from being around children, are responsible and can manage to arrange suitable activities for kids, depending on how old and how many they are.

We’ve got a Tuffers Club playroom, rooms for table tennis and cinema etc, but there’s also other available spaces for fun and exciting activities indoors as well as outdoors. You are creative and will do everything to make the kids that visit Hotel Tylösand get a memorable and fun experience.

The working hours are mostly during daytime, but since we also offer private childminding work can stretch into evenings as well. As the host for Tuffers Club we can offer you a summer filled with laughter and great new experiences with our wonderful young hotel guests.

CLEANING STAFF

We’re hiring cleaning staff for the summer of 2024. You will be part of the cleaning team for hotel rooms, spa, restaurants, conference rooms, general spaces and staff areas. Since you will have a lot of contact with our guests, you have to be able to communicate and help guests with their needs.

You like fast pace work, is a team-player, loves to offer customers top-quality service. You are careful, used to work independently, and don’t hesitate to put in a little extra when needed.

The guest contact means that you must be able to read and understand written as well as spoken instructions in Swedish. Previous experience of similar jobs are meriting, but a positive mindset and ambition can go very far.

MAINTENANCE STAFF

We’re hiring maintenance staff for the summer of 2024. The job tasks are varied with indoors as well as outdoor maintenance: clean and pick up trash outdoors, furnishing of conference rooms, restaurants and outdoors areas. If you’re handy, there can also be some repair work.

The job tasks are physically demanding, and sometimes stressful. You like to take responsibility, are flexible and service-minded. You are at least 18 years old, and it’s meriting if you have a driver’s licence and relevant experience. You’re good at communicating in Swedish with colleagues as well as guests, both verbally and in writing.

THE SPA

THERAPIST

Here’s an opportunity to work at one of Sweden’s best Spa hotels. We’re looking for qualified therapy stars for the summer season. We’re a great and enthusiastic team, working hard to give our guests an unforgettable experience by always finding solutions, and offer top-class service at our spa.

You are experienced, self-sufficient and understands the need for service and quality on a high level. You are a qualified, committed and competent skin or massage therapist. You’re careful and efficient with a positive and flexible mindset. You’re also familiar with product sales and recommendations, since this is an important part of the job.
